Product Description
Accucold by Summit Appliance's MED series all-freezers come fully featured for stabilized temperature performance for use in medical, scientific, pharmaceutical, and laboratory institutions.The VT65MLMED has a 24 footprint designed for freestanding use. It comes in a white finish and includes a front-mounted lock for added security.The manual defrost VT65MLMED operates several degrees colder than most freezers for safe long-term storage of food, vaccines, or pharmaceuticals. Temperatures can reach and maintain -25º C. Three removable pull-out basket drawers provide convenient storage solutions, while extra thick insulation limits energy waste and keeps the cold inside. We include an audible NIST calibrated temperature alarm complete with an external display of the current and high/low temperature mounted on the door. A green dot hospital grade plug is installed for added safety in high traffic areas. An access port allows users to connect their own monitoring equipment. With its slim size and reliable construction, the VT65MLMED works well in any setting in need trusted storage. For a built-in version of this model, see the VT65MLBIMED. Additionally, we offer a variety of options to customize this unit, including USB data loggers, digital thermostats, self-closing doors, and more.NOTE: Accucold freezers are purpose-built to the support meeting the current CDC (Centers for Disease Control) guidelines for the storage of vaccines. As referenced in the current Vaccine Storage and Handling Toolkit, these units incorporate several key features for stable operation. For additional temperature assurance, the CDC recommends a calibrated digital data logger (DDL), which can be added with the factory-installed option DL2B or addition of the DL2BKit accessory. Delivery
Standard Local Appliance Delivery Includes:
- Level and test of the appliance to ensure its connected properly.
- Connection of appliance to EXISTING water connection, drain or external dryer exhaust for washers, dryers, ranges, refrigerators, and freezers, provided the customer also purchases new connections from Hagedorn’s Appliance (dryer vent, range, or dryer cord)
- Inspection of appliance for visible damage
- Basic product demonstration and testing of appliance to ensure proper connection.
Haul-away of old appliances:
- $25 recycle fee per appliance being hauled away is included in the delivery price on a one for one basis.
- Relocation of an old appliance within the same residence fee is $79 (reconnection not included)
Standard Local Appliance Delivery Does NOT Include:
- Appliances not purchased at Hagedorn’s Appliances
- Installation of dishwashers, over-the-range microwaves, drop-in ranges, wall ovens, surface units, cooktops, gas dryers, air conditioners, or built-in refrigerators; installation available for additional fees; see a store associate for details.
- Connection through floors or old duct work
- Removal, haul away or recycling arrangement of old appliance
- Shut off of main water valve; delivery teams can’t connect appliances unless there's a working shut-off valve on the same floor.

New water line/ice maker connector is required (sold separately).
Dishwashers
Dishwasher installation sold separately and requires appointment. New dishwasher connector hose is required (sold separately).
Electric Ranges
Electrical cord and new three- or four-prong plug are required (sold separately).
