Product Description

Accucold's MED2 series puts the most commonly requested features into a quality line of all-refrigerators and freezers specially designed to store vaccines and other sensitive materials in medical, scientific, pharmaceutical, and laboratory institutions. The FF28LWHMED2 is a compact all-refrigerator sized for countertop use. It comes in a white finish with a blue top-mounted control panel that allows users to adjust and monitor the temperature without opening the door. A hospital grade 'green dot' cord offers added safety in high traffic environments and a factory-installed lock provides keyed security for sensitive items.As recommended by the CDC, VFC and VFA programs, the FF28LWHMED2 is equipped with a NIST calibrated thermometer that displays the current, minimum, and maximum temperatures to the nearest tenth of a degree with a readout viewable in Celsius or Fahrenheit. Each FF28LWHMED2 ships with a certificate of calibration for your records. The thermometer includes an audible alarm to warn users if the interior has gone out of the programmed temperature range. The buffered temperature probe is encased in a glycol-filled bottle and secured inside the fixed center wire shelf to best simulate the temperature of other stored contents, resulting in the utmost accuracy for temperature reporting. We include a pre-installed 3/8 probe hole for users who wish to install additional monitoring equipment.The 2.4 cu.ft. interior capacity includes wire shelving for optimum circulation, with one center fixed shelf to keep the temperature probe in place anda removable half shelf that can be positioned above the compressor step. This unit has a flat door liner as recommended by the CDC to protect stored items from too much exposure to ambient temperature when the door is opened. An internal fan ensures the interior is evenly cooled from top to bottom. All MED2 series units are assembled in the USA from domestic and imported components. Delivery

Standard Local Appliance Delivery Includes:

  • Level and test of the appliance to ensure its connected properly.
  • Connection of appliance to EXISTING water connection, drain or external dryer exhaust for washers, dryers, ranges, refrigerators, and freezers, provided the customer also purchases new connections from Hagedorn’s Appliance (dryer vent, range, or dryer cord)
  • Inspection of appliance for visible damage
  • Basic product demonstration and testing of appliance to ensure proper connection.

 

Haul-away of old appliances:

  • $25 recycle fee per appliance being hauled away is included in the delivery price on a one for one basis.
  • Relocation of an old appliance within the same residence fee is $79 (reconnection not included)

 

Standard Local Appliance Delivery Does NOT Include:

  • Appliances not purchased at Hagedorn’s Appliances
  • Installation of dishwashers, over-the-range microwaves, drop-in ranges, wall ovens, surface units, cooktops, gas dryers, air conditioners, or built-in refrigerators; installation available for additional fees; see a store associate for details.
  • Connection through floors or old duct work
  • Removal, haul away or recycling arrangement of old appliance
  • Shut off of main water valve; delivery teams can’t connect appliances unless there's a working shut-off valve on the same floor.

 

Refrigerators

New water line/ice maker connector is required (sold separately).

 

Dishwashers

Dishwasher installation sold separately and requires appointment. New dishwasher connector hose is required (sold separately).

 

Electric Ranges

Electrical cord and new three- or four-prong plug are required (sold separately). 

 

Electric Dryers

Electrical cord and dryer duct are required (sold separately).

 

Gas Ranges

Gas hookup available in select markets. Contact your local store regarding availability for hookup. 

 

Gas Dryers

Professional Installation With Delivery

For your convenience, we provide installation services for an additional fee. Dishwashers, microwaves, cooktops, wall ovens, slide-in ranges, drop-in ranges, gas ranges, gas dryers, range hoods, garbage disposals and trash compactors can be installed by one of our authorized installation companies.
